Group for sound and listening

Welcome to the collective Listening Club at Jokistudio.

We gather around sounds, listening, sounding and discussing. The group is led by composer Laura Naukkarinen, aka Lau Nau.

The focus is on making and listening to sound in a minimalist and focused way. We listen to recordings and meet visitors, make sound, listening exercises and field recordings together.

The group is a counterbalance to solitary work. Kuuntelukerho members can also bring their own ideas for the group to try out. We aim for collective and relaxed work with experimental sound.
